suppliment to 42nd post on 16/07/2013x for Abhanga a week of Sant Tukarama.

Date
16th July 2013.
Dear
Reader , following are the comments from Sri M. Jayaram on the 42nd
Abhanga. These comments will be very useful for the further
understanding of Tukarama Maharaja's teachings. That is the reason I
am publishing these as a new Post.
There
is a famous statement about the spiritual knowledge about the
Parabrahman. I am not remembering it exactly but the sum anmd
substance is as given here. “ One who says that he has understood ,
has not understood, The one who says otherwise gets the experience
and understanding”.
.
On abhang 42 Mr. Jayaram comments as given below.:-
1.
Parabrahman cannot be described by logic. The moment you define
anything by logic, it's no longer infinite . The dream state analogy
can only explain that that a world which is so alive and real
disappears when you wake up just as a lamp dispels the darkness of
light.
My
view is : It is rightly said here that Parabrahman can not be
described by logic. I have only tried to explain the All Pervading
aspect in my post. .
2.
It is more a comparison of deep-sleep state where our mind, senses
and body are at sleep and the "good" feeling that follows
the sleep when you awake tell you something was present when all
these were asleep.
3.
As regards pain and suffering, most of eastern philosophy starts with
this question — the western philosophy is more obsessed with who
created the world. It is this question which reflects the basic tenet
of dharma and karma and the purushaarthas as integral to life.
4)as
i see it, God lies within you — integral like advaita or qualified
or distinct as in other philosophies and as soon as one realises
this fact, he is out of the chakra of rebirth. The oneness of the
soul(or whatever you want to name it) to the universal soul is the
answer. The explanations given by you reduce GOD to a distinct
being-more powerful,infinite and whatever.Any such explanation leads
to a simple question-who created GOD ?
5.
Bhakthimargaa is one of the easiest way to realise this oneness and
that's where Tukaram is superb — simple language, simple synonyms
and universal appeal
